Before moving to Santa Fe, I lived in the San Francisco Bay Area for many years, and during that time I painted mainly abstracts and portraits.  Now that I live in Santa Fe, I am inspired by the blend of cultures and the beautiful light here, and I have been painting more colorful scenes with imagery that reflects Native American and Hispanic cultural influences. High desert landscapes, the incredible sunrises and sunsets of New Mexico, and Santa Fe scenes allow me to showcase the natural beauty of New Mexico as well as the unique style and architecture of Santa Fe.
